Q: Can you tell me if "Deadwood" and "Hell on Wheels" will return and, if so, when? I love those kinds of shows.

Adam Thomlison / TV Media

We have a classic good news/bad news situation here, unfortunately. I'll start with the bad news.

"Deadwood" is gone. In fact, it has been for a long time. The critically and popularly beloved western series ended in 2006 after just its third season (HBO has never shied away from cutting down shows in their prime).

You've probably guessed the good news then: "Hell on Wheels" has been renewed. In fact, it's due back in just a few weeks.

These days, a lot of us take for granted that we, and practically everyone we know, have constant access to our very own personal computers. Even the least tech-savvy among us wield the power to communicate, shop, watch movies and retrieve an encyclopedia’s worth of knowledge with just a few mouse clicks and key strokes.

Hollywood Game Night, on NBC

Celebrities gather to play hilarious games and help contestants win prizes in this new episode. Host Jane Lynch has her famous friends square off in a little friendly competition that could see one of the contestants walk away with $25,000.

Q: Could you find out if "Army Wives" will be back on for another season? I don't recall reading anything about it being canceled and do hope it will be back.

Author:
Adam Thomlison / TV Media

You must have just missed the announcement because, unfortunately, after seven popular seasons, "Army Wives" has left the air.

An official reason was not given, however the ratings for last season (the first without original star Kim Delaney) were significantly lower than previous seasons. "Army Wives" was once Lifetime's most popular show by a longshot.
