It looks like Bon Temps is going to war.

Q: Do you know yet if "Mixology" has been picked up for a second season? I've never seen anything like it, the format is so fresh and has great depth. Can you also tell me anything about the girl who plays Kacey?

Though it did have a fairly original premise, ABC opted not to order a second round of "Mixology."

The series, which spent its entire season following a group of people over one night at a bar, never drew a big enough audience to convince ABC to renew it. Though it was never officially canceled, when ABC announced its schedule for next season, "Mixology" wasn't on it.

The Goldbergs, on ABC

When Beverly (Wendi McLendon-Covey) tells Barry (Troy Gentile) that he'll have to earn his own money if he wants to purchase an expensive item, Murray (Jeff Garlin) suggest he come work at the furniture store with him.

Todd tries something new in a new episode of this fun reality series. Staging a pop-up show at a local mall, the Freakshow performers do what they can to give the audience a phenomenal show with the help of a guest-star, the half-man Short E. Dangerously.

Q: I recently saw an ad for a new show that Dylan McDermott is going to be in. That reminded me that I can't remember if his last show ended or not. Did that show ever reach a conclusion?

CBS's "Hostages" was a case where the "limited series" trend works well for audiences as well as networks.

The series aired one 15-episode season, at the end of which its complicated kidnapping-and-presidential-assassination plot was wrapped up neatly. I won't say how because you didn't ask directly, and so you may yet be intending to catch up with it on DVD or Netflix.

Police procedural shows are a dime a dozen on screen these days, but "Rookie Blue" outshines the rest.

From humble beginnings to critical acclaim, the Canadian show stole its way into the hearts of the viewers across North America. It found its voice and, just like the rookie cops of the show, grew perfectly into its own skin.

24: Live Another Day, on Fox

In order to derail the terror attacks planned by Margot Al-Harazi (Michelle Fairley), Jack (Kiefer Sutherland) and President Heller (William Devane) face the unthinkable in this new episode. Meanwhile, Jordan Reed (Giles Matthey) faces imminent danger.
