You may be getting more answers than you want, but you'll get them in 2022.

The third season of the series aired back in April 2020, but filming of the fourth was interrupted by the pandemic, so we have a while to wait.

It didn't even start filming until this spring, and prestige shows like this take a while to produce.

However, BBC America, which produces the show, has committed to airing the fourth season sometime next year (which is, of course, not much of a commitment, but it's all we have).

That's the good news. The bad (or at least mixed) news is that while they made that announcement, they also announced that the upcoming eight-episode season would be the show's last.

That's mixed news because knowing in advance that this will be the final season at least means the writers will be able to bring some resolution to the show's spectacularly twisting plot.

I say "some" resolution because the people behind the show are already hinting at continuing the story through spinoffs.

"We look forward to what is sure to be an unforgettable final season and to exploring potential extensions of this compelling universe," said Dan McDermott, president of original programming for AMC Networks, which co-owns BBC America.

So, I guess producers won't entirely be killing "Eve." (Not yet anyway.)
