The best way to say it is that Yvonne Strahovski has, as of late, been spreading her wings.

Her breakout role on the action-comedy "Chuck" (which aired on NBC from 2007 to 2012) could have pigeonholed her into similar action roles, but she's managed to sidestep that. In 2021, she co-led the popcorn-friendly action flick "The Tomorrow War" alongside Chris Pratt ("Guardians of the Galaxy," 2014) while also continuing in her leading role in the critic-friendly drama series "The Handmaid's Tale."

The Margaret Atwood-created role, which she's held since 2017, wasn't her first foray into prestige TV, however, as she also appeared on the final two seasons of "Dexter" as the title character's fellow serial killer and love interest.

Between those two projects, Strahovski also had a lead on the ABC ensemble drama "The Astronaut Wives Club" (in 2015) and did a season of the spy hit "24" (which, of course, brought her much closer to "Chuck" territory) in 2014.
