One devoted fan base's loss is another's gain. Nathaniel Arcand, who played Clinton Skye on the first two seasons of "FBI: Most Wanted," has returned to his other well-known role: Scott Cardinal on "Heartland."

Arcand disappeared from "FBI: Most Wanted" partway through its second season with little explanation for his character's absence. It was months before Arcand announced that he was officially exiting the show.

He did so via an Instagram post that said simply, "Moving On. Moving Forward. Don't Look Back ... #clintonskye must say bye."

He announced his return to "Heartland" in similar fashion -- via cryptic Instagram posts. He began sharing photos of himself on the "Heartland" set, without comment. That left fans to just speculate about the comments until the show premiered on CBC last October and his return was confirmed.

Unfortunately for fans south of the border, the 15th season isn't yet available in the U.S.

For a while now, the UPtv cable channel and UP Faith and Family streaming service have been airing "Heartland" after CBC premieres it. There's no announcement yet on when those channels will air Season 15.

Between leaving "FBI: Most Wanted" and rejoining "Heartland," Arcand managed to squeeze out a number of film roles, including a small role in the upcoming "Killers of the Flower Moon," directed by the legendary Martin Scorsese ("Goodfellas," 1990, to name just one of his masterpieces).
