She certainly does. She even has a middle name, depending on whether you consider video games to be official sources or not.

The incredibly enthusiastic and knowledgeable grade-school teacher on the popular PBS children's series "The Magic School Bus" (which was based on an equally popular book series) is the show's main character. If one were to look at the driver's license that allows her to be behind the wheel of the show's physics-defying bus, it would read Valerie Felicity Frizzle (and for the real trivia geeks: it would be issued by Rhode Island).

Her first name, Valerie, is revealed in the book "The Magic School Bus in the Time of the Dinosaurs," the sixth book in the series by Joanna Cole and Bruce Degen. Ms. Frizzle runs into an old high school friend when she takes the students on a dinosaur dig, and her friend, a paleontologist, calls her Valerie, which sets the students off on pages of whispering about this amazing new fact about their favorite teacher.

Her middle name, Felicity, is only revealed in the CD-ROM video game "The Magic School Bus Explores the Rainforest," in which she apparently says, "Diversity is the rainforest's middle name, Ralphie, or my middle name isn't Felicity." (I say "apparently" because that information comes from the "Magic School Bus" Wikipedia page -- the original game is hard to come by, and, having been released in 2000 for Windows NT, probably wouldn't work on most computers now anyway.)

The fact that there's interest in this, and that there are multiple sources online and elsewhere that have recorded her first and middle names despite the fact they're only mentioned in passing in the actual series, is proof of how beloved "The Magic School Bus" and Ms. Frizzle are.

There are dozens of books in the series, and the show aired for four years. It was nominated for a number of awards, winning a Daytime Emmy for Lily Tomlin, who voiced Ms. Frizzle.
