Q: I loved the British comedy series "The IT Crowd," and its credits say prominently that it was created by Graham Linehan. Has he made any other shows?

Ireland-born writer-director Graham Linehan is now best known for "The IT Crowd," his smash-hit sitcom that combined office jokes with nerd jokes ("IT" stands, in this case, for "information technology").

He had made a number of other shows prior to "The IT Crowd's" debut in 2006 -- though none was as popular -- and one since.

Q: What has America Ferrera been doing since "Ugly Betty" went off the air?

Author:
Adam Thomlison / TV Media

The short answer is she's been riding on a dragon, trying to revolutionize television, and will soon be working towards real-world revolution, too.

But the short answer requires some explanation.

She had a voice role in the 2010 hit animated film "How to Train Your Dragon," which has since spun off into a TV series ("Dragons: Riders of Berk"), a couple of video shorts and will be launching a second big-screen film this summer -- Ferrera reprises her role as Astrid in all of them.

Person of Interest, on CBS

When The Machine identifies a U.S. naval officer as a potential target, Reese (Jim Caviezel) and Shaw (Sarah Shahi) search for the officer among a sea of sailors in town for Fleet Week. Also, Root (Amy Acker) tests her boundaries.
