Q: I feel like I've seen the actor who plays Capt. Hastings in the Hercule Poirot movies in other things as well. Who is he and what else has he done?

Adam Thomlison / TV Media

If it's not for playing the frequently inept but always good-natured Capt. Arthur Hastings in the Poirot films on "Masterpiece Mystery" (and originally on ITV in Britain), there's probably one other reason you know Hugh Fraser.

He's also done a longstanding run in another series of telefilms originating on ITV in Britain and subsequently popular in North America: the "Sharpe" films.

Q: What ever happened to the show, I believe it was just called "3," about three women interviewing men before potentially dating them. I think I saw two episodes, then it was gone.

Author:
Adam Thomlison / TV Media

Well, the good news is you didn't miss a single episode.

CBS canceled the simplistically designed dating show last July, after just two airings.

That's a pretty quick surrender from the network, however the ratings were pretty bad.
