Q: There was an after-school special from the '70s called "Joey and Redhawk" that was later turned into a movie. Is there any way I can buy it?

Author:
Adam Thomlison / TV Media

Unfortunately, no. ABC's genre-defining series, "ABC Afterschool Special," has gotten the extensive DVD release treatment, but its imitators from the network's big-three competitors, "NBC Special Treat" and "CBS Afternoon Playhouse" (which featured "Joey and Redhawk"), have been forgotten.
