When someone has been a mainstay on our televisions for over 60 years, there’s certainly a reason why. Be it charisma, charm or talent, Martha Stewart seems to have it all: from soap-brand commercials to the “Martha Stewart Show,” hers is a face of daytime television that we’ve grown to know and trust.

And this week, the award-winning lifestyle maven, businesswoman and television personality welcomes viewers back into her kitchen for a second helping of new recipes and tasty treats, as Season 2 of “Martha Cooks” begins streaming on The Roku Channel Monday, April 3.

In each 30-minute episode (there are 10 in all), viewers join Stewart in her Bedford farmhouse kitchen, where she cooks fresh pasta, pizza, waffles, lobster and more. “Working with world-renowned chefs and dear friends, she will reveal techniques and how-to instructions like only Martha can,” the related Roku news release says.

Known for her educational content on all things cooking, housekeeping and gardening, Stewart takes a more relaxed approach in “Martha Cooks,” visiting “some of her favorite places to create some incredible cuisine, confections and treats.” 

According to IMDb, Stewart kicks off the new season by preparing a chicken dinner with mashed potatoes and gravy alongside a green salad and a vinaigrette dressing. For dessert, she is joined by guest Kevin Sharkey, executive vice president of Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia, who assists Stewart in making butterscotch and hot fudge sundaes. Other guests in Season 2 include Christian Petroni (“Food Network Star”), Honey co-founder George Ruan, chefs Ignacio Mattos and Anne Mayhew, celebrity chef Jamie Oliver (“Jamie’s One Pan Wonders”) and many more. 

Both "Martha Cooks" and "Emeril Cooks" are produced by Marquee Brands, and after premiering on the video streaming service last fall, the two series scored second seasons that are — once again — exclusive to The Roku Channel.
