Q: One of the greatest gems of the 2013 summer TV season was "Whodunnit" on ABC. Is there any word on whether or not it will be coming back for another season?

There is word on that, and it's not good. The real murderer in "Whodunnit's" story has turned out to be ABC.

The Bridge, on FX

A man connected to Sonya's (Diane Kruger) past resurfaces in this season premiere. Marco (Demian Bichir) feels his safety threatened in his own department, while Frye (Matthew Lillard) and Adriana (Emily Rios) look into the origins of the "money house."

Q: Tell me if my eyes and ears are deceiving me. Did I not see Jay Leno announce that Arsenio Hall's show had been renewed for another season? But then I heard elsewhere that the show will not be back for a second season. I'm confused.

Unfortunately, you're right on both counts, which gives you a better track record on this issue than Jay Leno.

It's not clear what circumstances led to his surprise appearance on Arsenio Hall's recently revived late-night talk show, but Leno showed up there in February to hand deliver an official-looking letter to the host. Leno read from the letter, which said that "this letter certifies that the Arsenio Hall Show is officially picked up and will continue for a second season!"

Under the Dome, on CBS

Chester's Mill is faced with a fresh crisis in this new episode. When Rebecca (Karla Crome) makes the unsettling discovery that an infestation of butterfly eggs is threatening the town's crops, Barbie (Mike Vogel) risks his life to help her save the food supply.
