Q: I remember him from the sitcom "Valerie's Family" and know he's having a sort of career revival now, but where did Jason Bateman actually get his start?

Author:
Adam Thomlison / TV Media

That's a good question, because few probably remember a very young Jason Bateman appearing in a full season of the family classic "Little House on the Prairie."

In his very first screen role, he played one of the children adopted by the ever-generous Ingalls family after his parents died in a wagon accident (the 1800s version of a car crash). His character was introduced at the end of the seventh season in 1981 and would remain until the end of the eighth.

Q: Who's the actor who plays Pimento in "Brooklyn Nine-Nine"? He's hilarious, and has been a great addition to the show.

Author:
Adam Thomlison / TV Media

The comically damaged, violent former undercover cop Adrian Pimento (he really does play it for laughs, believe it or not) is played by Jason Mantzoukas.

He's probably best known as Rafi in the FX sitcom "The League," a comedy about a group of friends in a fantasy football league together. Much like Pimento in "Brooklyn Nine-Nine," Rafi shows up occasionally in the show to inject a bit of extra weirdness into an already weird ensemble of characters.

Undercover Boss, on CBS
