Still Alice

Dr. Alice Howland (Moore) is a professor of linguistics with a loving husband, three adult children and twin grandchildren on the way. Shortly after her 50th birthday, she notices that she's begun forgetting things more and more often, and her doctor diagnoses her with early onset familial Alzheimer's disease. Fearful that she'll lose herself and her memories entirely, Alice puts a series of personal questions into her cellphone, along with instructions to take the large amount of sleeping pills that she's hidden away when the day arrives that she can no longer remember the answers to the questions. As the disease worsens, she loses her job, no longer recognizes her family members and becomes lost in her own home. When her husband (Baldwin) is offered a job out of state, the frayed bond that had sustained them for so long threatens to rip wide open, and her disease continues to tear their once close family apart.
