Goosebumps

When Zach (Minnette) moves to a quiet and sleepy small town, he finds himself bored to tears until he meets what may be the hamlet's only saving graces: his new best friend, Champ (Lee), and his new neighbor, Hannah (Rush). Hannah, it turns out, is the daughter of famous "Goosebumps" author R. L. Stine (Black), a mysterious and somewhat creepy man who appears to be a prisoner in his own twisted imagination. When Zach and Champ open one of Stine's manuscripts, they learn a horrifying truth: that all of the monsters in the author's books are real and that Stine has kept them locked in the book for decades. With the abominable snowman, Slappy the Living Dummy and even a werewolf now free, it's up to the three youths to save the town from the terror that they've unleashed.
