Jem and the Holograms

Based on the beloved late-'80s animated TV series of the same name, this musical adventure follows a talented small-town girl as she strives to discover who she truly is. Jerrica (Peeples) lives with her sister, Kimber (Scott), and her aunt's adopted daughters Aja (Kiyoko) and Shana (Perrineau). Typically a very shy girl, Jerrica is vaulted into stardom when a video of her singing makes its way to YouTube, thanks to Kimber. The now-famous singer takes the stage name Jem, and, along with her three sisters, embarks on a musical journey of self-discovery in the face of global admiration and an increasingly complex lifestyle.

The Diary of a Teenage Girl

It is 1976, and Minnie (Powley) is a 15-year-old aspiring cartoonist with a bohemian mother (Wiig), an insecurity about her weight, and an attraction to her mother's handsome boyfriend, Monroe (Skarsgård). The relationship between Minnie and Monroe develops into passion, and the two begin an affair, leading to an awakening in her life. Inspired by a newfound confidence, she and her friends begin experimenting with many wild activities, but soon her mother begins to suspect that something is going on between her daughter and boyfriend.

Director: Marielle Heller. Stars: Bel Powley, Kristen Wiig, Alexander Skarsgård, Christopher Meloni. 2015. 102 min. Drama.

Mountaineering guides Rob Hall (Clarke) and Scott Fischer (Gyllenhaal) are experienced climbers from competing companies that guide climbers to the summit of the world's highest peak, Mount Everest in this film inspired by true events. When they team up to lead a group up the deadly mountain, though, neither of them realizes that a freak storm is heading their way.

The Bold and the Beautiful

Nicole becomes jealous of Sasha and Zende working together. When Rick sees how much Sasha helped Zende during his last photo shoot, he offers her a position at the company; Sasha, however, has her eye on more than just a job at Forrester Creations. Nicole attempts to hide her jealousy when she hears the news, but ends up confronting Rick about his hiring decision. Because of the great sacrifice Nicole is making for Rick and Maya, Rick makes a sacrifice of his own. Later, Sasha's hopes are crushed when she receives bad news about her position. Meanwhile, Wyatt realizes who the perfect girl for him has been all along as he commiserates with Steffy over their respective flawed relationships. Eric and Quinn discuss how the Forrester Creations jewelry line will function with Ivy in Australia. Miscommunication and an unfortunate misunderstanding cause Liam to make a drastic decision. As Brooke begins her first day working with Bill and Katie at Spencer Publications, the tension between her and Bill is palpable. Katie expresses confidence in her sister's loyalty when Rick questions her about how she feels about Brooke working so closely with Bill.

Days of Our Lives

Nicole angrily blasts Eric, blaming him for Daniel's death. Victor tries to comfort Maggie as she struggles with her grief. Melanie returns to Salem to help plan her father's funeral, while Nicole continues to have a difficult time dealing with the loss. Eric is riddled with guilt over his actions, while Jennifer does her best to hide the pain she's suffering. Chad makes a proposal to Abigail. Andre learns the truth about Chad, and then grows suspicious of Hope. Rafe offers his help to a traumatized Hope and he risks it all to protect her. After an intense encounter with Eric, Brady has a strange dream involving Nicole. Eduardo gives John some important information about his mother. Kayla and Ava face off. Victor reacts strangely when Caroline tells him about another disturbing vision she had about him.

General Hospital

Liz and Jake arrive home to something frightening. Despite their mounting trust issues, Nikolas and Hayden's feelings for one another grow. Anna uses her investigative skills to get information from Sabrina. After Anna tells Jordan about her theory about Paul, she seeks out help from Robert. After Morgan gets a little closer to Kiki, he attends a therapy session with Andre. Carly helps Sam with Jason's case, while Sonny dismisses his new doctor. Lulu struggles with her guilt after conspiring with Johnny. Meanwhile, Valerie unknowingly helps out the wrong person. Soon, Dante finds some incriminating photos at the police station. Michael gets a letter from Sabrina, while Maxie assists Nathan with his investigation.

The Young and the Restless

When Victor and Jack express interest in Kevin's project, Kevin shocks them by telling them he isn't interested in taking them on as investors. Mariah is surprised at Kevin's bold move. Tensions rise at Newman between Noah, Luca and Marisa. Victor urges Noah to keep his cool and stick to their plan. Michael delivers some surprising news to Jack. Lily slaps Hilary when she confronts her about her treatment of Devon, while Devon tells Cane he can't bring himself to walk away from Hilary. Lily learns from Cane that he isn't quite ready to move forward with their relationship. When Victor finds out Nikki has gone on a lunch date with Neil, he scolds her and tells her she should be focusing on her family and not her friendship with Neil instead.
