Q: I am wondering what has happened to the series "Vegas," with Dennis Quaid. I've been waiting for the new season and am hoping it has not been canceled.

Kudos to you for keeping hope alive. CBS quietly canceled "Vegas" nearly a year ago.

As a matter of fact, the cancelation was so quiet it was never officially made. The network simply hoped people got the message.

In TV programming speak, it was as clear a hint as they come: The network moved the show to the scheduling desert of Friday nights (out of its plum Tuesday night slot), and at the same time put it on hiatus for NCAA March Madness basketball coverage.

Blue Bloods, on CBS

Erin (Bridget Moynahan) finds herself held hostage by a key informant in a major drug case in this rebroadcast. Danny (Donnie Wahlberg) steps in as lead hostage negotiator in an attempt to secure his sister's safety, while Jamie (Will Estes) gets suspended for insubordination.

Grey's Anatomy, on ABC

Prepare for some shocking and dramatic twists and turns as season 10 comes to an end. This will be Sandra Oh's final appearance on the show, so fans are eager to discover how her character, Cristina, will be written off. Ellen Pompeo and Patrick Dempsey also star.

It's that time of year again -- finale season. Left and right, shows are coming to dramatic, terrifying and sometimes even witty ends.

Q: Can you find out if the TV series "King & Maxwell" will be coming back on? I really liked that show.

Author:
Adam Thomlison / TV Media

It's bad news on that front, unfortunately: TNT canceled "King & Maxwell" after the end of its first season this past summer.

The series seemed like a good bet for the network. It was based on a series of novels by bestselling thriller writer David Baldacci and featured a pair of proven stars as the title characters.

Revolution, on NBC

Both eager to take down the Patriot, Neville (Giancarlo Esposito) and Monroe (David Lyons) form an uneasy truce in this season finale. Meanwhile, Rachel (Elizabeth Mitchell) finds herself staring down nano-technology while she searches for Aaron (Zak Orth).

Sides collide and stakes will be claimed in the cliffhanger finale of season 3 of "Grimm," airing Friday, May 16, on NBC.

We know the episode will end with the wedding of Rosalee and Monroe -- and the added bonus of a Wesen-packed guest list -- and it will keep fans guessing until the fourth season gets started in the fall.

Riot, on Fox

Fox's newest series promises lots of laughs as celebrity comedians perform raucous improv. Big names such as Steve Carell, Jason Alexander and Mayim Bialik and many more have signed on to appear in network television's newest improv comedy show.
