Q: I am curious about what happened to the actors who starred opposite the late Andy Griffith on "Matlock."

Given that "Matlock" really was all about Andy Griffith, there were a number of different supporting stars cast that backed him up over the show's nine hit seasons. The three longest-running ones were Nancy Stafford (who played Ben Matlock's legal partner Michelle), Julie Sommars (who played Matlock's friend and adversary, assistant district attorney Julie March), and Clarence Gilyard Jr. (who played private investigator Conrad McMasters).

Captain America: The Winter Soldier

Two years after the events in New York, Steve Rogers, a.k.a. Captain America (Evans), is living in Washington, D.C., trying to adjust to modern society. When a member of S.H.I.E.L.D. is attacked, Steve becomes wrapped up in a mysterious plot that could put the entire world in danger. Joining forces with the Black Widow (Johansson), Captain America fights off hired assassins as he tries to unravel the widening conspiracy. They force their students to abandon their obsession with social media and choose whether words or pictures are important.

Born to Race: Fast Track

When a horrible incident leaves Danny without a partner, he must team up with an old rival in order to compete for positions on the professional racing team.

The Bold and the Beautiful

Brooke is gobsmacked when Deacon shows up at her door expecting an answer to his proposal. Deacon plans to soften Brooke's attitude by spending an enjoyable morning with her and Hope. Caroline returns from her trip and is met by a frustrated Rick who vents to her about Ridge's recent lack of designs. When Rick becomes demanding of Ridge's work, Katie is forced to defend him and ultimately feels compelled to reveal Ridge's debilitating secret. Meanwhile, Ridge finds an unconventional way to complete his designs with Caroline's assistance. Ivy tells Aly about her true motivations in helping Liam get over his heartbreak. Hope overhears the conversation and confronts Ivy about not giving Liam enough time to heal. Later, Ivy hosts an Australian-themed barbecue at the mansion. Liam is disconcerted when he arrives at the barbecue and realizes everyone there is coupled up. Quinn makes a bold admission to Bill in the hopes that he will become her ally. Hope discusses her feelings with Wyatt about the possibility of Liam getting together with Ivy.

Days of Our Lives

Kristen surprises Marlena with a revelation, and she makes a bold move that sends shockwaves throughout Salem. Marlena struggles with making a tough choice and ends up making a huge request of Eric. Meanwhile, Brady stuns Theresa when he plants a kiss on her. Later, Theresa faces off with Kristen over Brady. Nicole tries to manipulate Eric, but it backfires, and she later gets into a nasty argument with Sami. Kayla has some bad news to deliver to John's loved ones. Aiden decides to throw caution to the wind with Hope. After accusing EJ of secretly working with Stefano, Sami works with Kate to try to prevent Stefano's return to Salem. Abigail tries to make things right with Ben. Kristen gets her answer from Eric.

General Hospital

Sabrina is rocked by revelations regarding her car accident and, armed with new information, she sets out to exact her revenge. Levi is poised to take things too far when he decides to take extreme measures. Nina's new obsession takes hold, and she conspires with Rosalie to cross someone off her list. Meanwhile, Alexis and Julian long for one another. Kiki inadvertently overhears some stunning news. As Patrick gets closer to the truth, Sam questions him about keeping information from her. The Young and the Restless

Summer learns that Jack has asked Kelly to move in with him. When Kelly wonders if Jack is ready to let go of Phyllis, Jack seals all of Phyllis' things in a box and puts it away in order to prove his commitment. Summer tells Austin that she won't give up on her mother, even if Jack already has. Meanwhile, Victor is frustrated that Phyllis is not showing any progress with the new treatment, and he shows her pictures of Summer and Sharon in the hopes of getting some sort of reaction. Nikki returns home from an AA meeting to find Ian at her doorstep. Ian tells her they have unfinished business. Billy confronts Victoria about why she chose to send him the final divorce papers on the anniversary of the day he proposed to her. Later, Ashley tells Billy of her plan to keep Stitch away from Victoria. Neil realizes he can't return to work yet and sees a doctor about his eyesight. Cane agrees to Colin's request for business advice, but only if Colin comes out with the truth about his mystery meetings.
