Jersey Boys

Based on the Tony Award-winning musical, "Jersey Boys" chronicles how Frankie Valli (Young), Bob Gaudio (Bergen), Tommy DeVito (Piazza) and Nick Massi (Lomenda) came together to form the 1960s rock group The Four Seasons. Coming from the wrong side of the tracks in New Jersey, the budding musicians experience their share of obstacles on their way to stardom, from their blue-collar beginnings to gambling debts to trouble with the mob to family disasters.

How to Train Your Dragon 2

Five years after uniting Vikings and dragons on the island of Berk, Hiccup (Baruchel) is pressured by his father (Butler) to become chief. Unprepared to take on the responsibility, Hiccup frequently escapes with his dragon, Toothless, to explore uncharted lands. Upon the discovery of a secret ice cave, they find hundreds of dragons, as well as the mysterious Dragon Rider named Valka (Blanchett). When two dragon hunters threaten to shatter the peace, Hiccup, Toothless and their friends must prepare to battle.

Happy Christmas

Jeff (Swanberg) and his wife Kelly (Lynskey) are living a comfortable life in Chicago with their new baby. When Jeff’s irresponsible younger sister Jenny (Kendrick) moves into their basement following a breakup, their home undergoes a drastic shakeup. The couple’s frustration continues to grow as Jenny’s lack of ambition and drinking spiral out of control.

Tammy

The Bold and the Beautiful

Maya offers to run the company at Rick's side when he hesitates in signing the contract that would make him CEO of Forrester Creations. Despite having mixed emotions about Ridge, Caroline is intent on getting her marriage back on track, and she exchanges threats with Maya. Rick is announced as CEO at an impromptu meeting, and he makes some drastic personnel changes, which puts Ridge and Caroline in their places. Later, Maya reminds Rick of Caroline's betrayal when she thinks he might be having second thoughts about leaving his marriage. At the same time, Carter gives Caroline some insight into the inner workings of Maya's mind and her motives regarding Rick. Meanwhile, Hope and Wyatt are overjoyed when they see their baby on the sonogram for the first time. However, their bliss is soon cut short when Quinn arrives. Hope tasks Wyatt with making sure his mother knows that she is not welcome in their lives. Taylor makes a surprise visit to check on Aly, but she grows concerned when she finds out that Aly has been communicating with her late mother, Darla. Ivy and Hope agree to leave the tension behind them as they embark on a business trip to Amsterdam.

Days of Our Lives

Kristen makes dangerous plans for Theresa when she is confronted by Brady and pushed to the very edge. As Brady and Daniel get into a huge fight about Kristen, Theresa finds herself in a perilous situation. Kristen pulls off one last major stunt before leaving Salem behind. Hope has questions for Aiden after she seems him with Bree. Bev stirs up trouble, which results in a blowup between JJ and Paige over his lies. Later, JJ and Paige reconcile, but JJ worries that his past mistake may yet come back to bite him. Chad crushes Ben's dreams and proceeds to push his buttons, which leads to a violent encounter. Jordan arrives at Clyde's hotel room with a gun in tow.

General Hospital

Sonny and Morgan hear a gunshot ring out in Port Charles, which leaves Shawn and Jordan struggling with the fight of their lives. Meanwhile, Franco makes a huge announcement. Silas closely examines his relationship with Sam, while Nina spirals even further out of control. Duke becomes increasingly concerned about his false alibi. Ava stuns Nina with some new information about her past and later has a run in with Sonny. Franco has a surprise in store for his co-conspirator as he sets the next phase of his ruse in motion. After being caught off guard, Michael finally tracks Sonny down. Anna gets ready to make some bold decisions.

The Young and the Restless

Jack blocks Victor's entrance and demands answers from him when he shows up to see Phyllis. Later, Jack prepares himself to reveal the truth to Phyllis about his relationship with Kelly. Lauren has a surprise in store for Michael when she shows up wearing a sexy nurse costume. When Michael later has to skip out of family time for a meeting, Fen notices some tension, and Kevin soon spots Michael chatting with an attractive woman. Cane warns Joe not to do business with Colin, and Joe begins to suspect that Victor has messed with Cane's confidence. Stitch informs Kelly that he needs to find their mother because big changes are afoot. Billy asks Chelsea what she is hiding when he finds the handkerchief that belonged to Adam's mother. Chelsea explains that she left it at the church when she said her good byes to Adam, but she has no idea how it got back to their home.

Hell on Wheels, on AMC

Anson Mount is back as Cullen Bohannon, a former Confederate soldier haunted by the deaths of his son and wife, when “Hell on Wheels” returns. The critically acclaimed drama also stars MacKenzie Porter as Cullen’s new wife Naomi, and Colm Meaney as businessman Thomas “Doc” Durant.

Blue Bloods, on CBS

Detective Danny Reagan (Donnie Wahlberg) protects the citizens of New York City under the watchful eyes of his father, Police Commissioner Frank (Tom Selleck). The police drama about three generations of law enforcement officers and lawyers in New York recently earned the distinction of being Friday's most-watched scripted series in a decade.
