The Bold and the Beautiful
Rick sends shockwaves throughout Forrester Creations during the staff meeting when he makes a big announcement and explains to a dumbfounded Caroline his true vision of where their respective futures are going. Despite being conned by Rick for weeks, Caroline expresses her love for him and vows to do whatever it takes to save their marriage. Meanwhile, Ivy feels regret for not telling Caroline about Rick and Maya earlier when she learns what has transpired. Eric feels that the current situation is his fault due to the ultimatum he issued Rick about staying with Caroline. Unsatisfied with having only stolen her foe's husband, Maya makes plans to steal something else of value to Caroline. Caroline is suddenly displaced from her home and seeks refuge with Liam. At the same time, Rick renovates the Forrester mansion living room to make room for Maya's extravagant gift. Aly, Ivy and Pam are shocked and outraged when they arrive and witness the gift. Rick invites Caroline over to discuss their relationship, but then tears into her heart when he shows her Maya's gift and explains that it is a reminder that someone is still loyal to him. Maya then gloats to Caroline about now being the woman in Rick's life.
Days of Our Lives
Melanie and Brady are uncertain of what to make of their recent unexpected kiss. Later, Brady and Melanie admit their feelings for one another after Melanie gets into an argument with Theresa. Meanwhile, Aiden tries to explain himself when Hope confronts him after learning from Kayla that Aiden threatened Bree. Adrienne confides to Lucas her suspicion that Justin is having an affair, and the two form a bond. Nicole doubles down her effort to get back together with Daniel, but she soon gets a mysterious call about Serena. Meanwhile, Sonny has to inform Chad that the new club is a bust, and he's surprised by the decision Chad makes. Will asks Paul a personal question and is stunned by the way he answers. Later, Sonny is in for a shock when he stops by Paul's hotel room.
General Hospital
Sonny finally learns the paternity of Ava's baby and later meets a new prisoner in the facility. Carly is privy to a confession from Olivia, and she continues to develop her bond with Jake. Fluke meets with Carlos after a tense encounter with Bobbie. Later, Fluke gives Helena an update about their recent concerns. Meanwhile, Luke works on a hunch about Fluke. Dante and Nathan have a warning for Johnny, while Bobbie tells Michael a family secret. Ned and Alexis have a conversation about their relationship. Lulu experiences a reunion with someone from her past.
The Young and the Restless
Phyllis grills Billy in order to get the real scoop on Kelly. Avery asks Nick if he is going after full custody of Faith for the right reasons. Meanwhile, Kevin arrives late for work at the police station, and he is carrying a mysterious box with him. Summer and Austin arrive at the Tack House where Summer and Mariah hurl insults at one another. Summer then fills in the blanks for Mariah regarding Kevin's past. Later, Kevin tries to get Michael to discuss his treatment plan. Michael and Lauren seek out a second opinion, and they meet with oncologist Dr. Jain. Dylan manages to talk Avery into calling Joe to see if she can find out from him who the property owner of the warehouse district is. When Nick runs into Mariah at Cassie's grave, he learns that Mariah never celebrated her birthday growing up.

It’s the beginning of the end for the students, staff and alumni of McKinley High School in the premiere of the final season. This season, disgraced TV actress Rachel Berry (Lea Michele) returns to Lima to find Sue Sylvester (Jane Lynch) has banished the arts at McKinley.

You're right, but your friend can be forgiven for thinking that Meryl Streep was among the surprising list of stars who did cameos in the film.
One of those stars was Glenn Close, who is often confused with Streep. The actresses, both from the northeastern U.S., were born two years apart and dominated the screen (and Oscar-nomination lists) starting in the '80s.
"It happens every now and then and it's always very, very funny," Close told Britain's "Daily Record" newspaper.
