Q: "The Librarians" is awesome! Noah lights up the screen. But did I miss something? Did TNT cancel "Falling Skies"?

There are actually two things going on here. You're right that Noah Wyle seems to have too much to do, starring in two different shows. And you're also right that TNT canceled "Falling Skies." However, these two things are not related.

Though Wyle appears to be pulling double-time, starring on two different shows, both on TNT, in fact his "Librarians" schedule has been precisely tailored to suit his pre-existing "Falling Skies" commitments.

Fury

As the Second World War nears its end, the Allies make a final push in the European Theatre. An experienced U.S. Army sergeant, nicknamed "Wardaddy" (Pitt), prepares to lead his five-man Sherman tank crew on a dangerous mission behind enemy lines. The Judge

When he hears that his mother has died, slick, big city lawyer Hank Palmer (Downey Jr.) returns to the childhood home he walked away from years before. When he learns that his father is suspected of murder and will have to go to trial, Hank sets out to uncover the truth while reconnecting with the family he cut ties with long ago.

Big Driver

During a long drive home following a book signing, a famous writer gets stranded, only to be saved by another driver, or so she thinks. In reality, her Saviour is a serial killer who repeatedly assaults her. After her brutal attack, she later seeks revenge in order to gain the only thing that’s holding her together: payback.

Doctor's orders: 'Doctor Who's' new season is keeping a familiar face

That is, at least when the Doctor is the titular character in BBC America's "Doctor Who," the alien Time Lord who cannot die -- at least not by conventional means.

The Bold and the Beautiful

Nicole lets Maya know her opinions on the lifestyle she's leading when she comes to visit her sister. At the same time, Pam tells Rick how disappointed she is at the way he's treating his father's home. Bill announces some major changes to Spencer Publications management that will put his loved ones in positions of power. Katie has a few stipulations before she accepts a generous offer made to her. After Caroline runs to Bill with her problems, Bill issues Maya a serious warning about her involvement with Rick, but Maya holds her own. Meanwhile, Liam sets out to have a talk with Rick about how to treat people once he hears about the recent tyranny at the office. While Liam demands that Rick stop treating Caroline and Ivy so poorly, Bill vows to solve the situation in his niece's life. When Brooke returns from Italy, she visits Deacon to talk about Hope and catch up on what's been going on. Later, Maya is overjoyed when Rick informs her that he's already had divorce papers drawn up for Caroline to sign.

Days of Our Lives

Nicole and Serena's argument escalates into an all-out brawl. Nicole becomes upset with Daniel when she feels he isn't totally on her side; later, she meets with a mysterious source who provides a bit of information on Serena. Tensions rise when Chad and Jordan, Ben and Abigail and Clyde and Kate all end up at the new club hoping for a fun night out. Chad hints to Abigail that Ben is lying to her, and it isn't long before Ben finds himself arrested. Chad feels betrayed by Jordan after Rafe pulls her into a kiss, so he retaliates in a sneaky way. Meanwhile, JJ loses it when he finds out Paige is getting close to an old enemy of his. Things heat up between JJ and Eve yet again, but this time Jennifer walks in on them. Paul learns something that surprises him about Will, and soon Will and Sonny get into another argument. The bad blood between Victor and Clyde only gets worse. Marlena tells John to follow his heart, while Melanie lets a concerned Daniel know that she's dating Brady.

General Hospital

Jake's mission is interrupted by a surprise visitor, and it isn't long before he begins to get a flash of memory. Meanwhile, Sam makes a confusing discovery after a romantic evening with Patrick goes awry. Sonny develops a theory about Fluke after he and Julian find out who is working with him. Later, Fluke threatens Sonny and Julian and then orchestrates a surprise for Michael and Lucas. Shawn confronts Jordan about the truth, while Nina finds herself a new ally. Carly finds something suspicious amongst Jake's belongings.

The Young and the Restless

Sharon receives word when the court date is set for the custody case. When Nick runs into Gabriel at the Athletic Club, he asks him about getting kicked out of school. Meanwhile, Billy tells Chelsea that he feels there is something untrustworthy about Gabriel. Later, Adam insists that Sage keep up her end of the deal and press Nick for information about Gabriel's past. Avery implores Dylan to back down from the fight over the coffeehouse, while Phyllis issues a warning to Kelly to stop playing her games. When Ashley asks if Stitch shares information about Jabot with Victoria, Stitch assures her that they never discuss business. Lauren confides to Jill the reality of Michael's condition. Fen puts Kevin on the spot by asking him if he has developed romantic feelings for Mariah.
