Only that no news is good news, for him at least. Though he admits that he misses some aspects of his old, celebrity life, Franz is enjoying a long retirement from the acting business.

"I miss Sipowicz sometimes," he said in a 2012 interview with "Access Hollywood," referring to his star-making "NYPD Blue" character. "As far as being back in the game, I'm enjoying life so much right now, with golf and grandkids, and we travel quite a bit. I have a full life."

New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady today began an appeal of his suspension for illegal deflation of balls. The NFL found that it was "more probable than not" that Brady was "at least generally aware" of wrongdoing, so they suspended him for the first four games of next season. His appeal is being heard personally by NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell, who will attempt to remain impartial while staring into Tom's gorgeous blue eyes.

The Water Diviner

In post-First World War Australia, Joshua Connor (Crowe), a farmer and water diviner, struggles to cope with the sudden loss of his wife (McKenzie) who, unable to cope with losing all three of their sons in the war, commits suicide while he's digging a well on his property. Joshua vows to bring his sons' bodies home to be buried next to their mother and makes his way to Istanbul, Turkey, where he takes a room in a small hotel run by a widow (Kurylenko) who takes a quick liking to him. Not long into his search for his sons, he's informed by the British consul that he's not allowed to go to Gallipoli, where the fighting took place. Determined to recover his sons' bodies and convinced that one of the three is still alive, Joshua must figure out a way to sneak onto the site and escape without getting caught.

A friendly alien race known as Boov has come to Earth to escape their bitter enemy, the Gorg, and politely removes humans from their homes so that they can move in. One excitable Boov named Oh (Parsons) is looking to host a party in his new apartment, but when he tries to email invites to the rest of the Boov, he accidentally sends them to the Gorg as well, giving away the location of the Boov's new home. Meanwhile, a human girl named Tip (Rihanna) has become separated from her mother during the chaos of the human evacuation, and she and Oh have to team up to both find her mother and save the planet.

White God

When the Hungarian government passes a new law heavily penalizing owners of mixed-breed dogs, 13-year-old Lili's (Psotta) father puts her beloved dog Hagen out on the street. She sets out to find him, but meanwhile Hagen has already been picked up by the pound. Hagen escapes and rebels against humans, gathering the many misfit and unwanted dogs around him in an act of defiance against the hands that once fed them.

The Bold and the Beautiful

Julius has a shocking change of heart when he gives Rick and Maya his blessing. With their father's acceptance, Maya and Nicole anticipate a whole new family dynamic. Rick accepts partial blame for Aly's breakdown when he admits he treated her poorly in the past. Ivy makes a stunning discovery about a family member, and she fills Liam and Wyatt in on the details. When Thorne arrives in town, he receives an upsetting update regarding Aly's recent behavior and puts a plan in place to get her the help she needs. Kevin becomes wise to Marisa's history with Marco. Billy is enraged when Abby drops the ball on a deal for Newman-Abbott.

Lavalantula, on Syfy

Steve Guttenberg stars as a washed-up action hero who battles giant lava-breathing tarantulas that emerge from volcanos and threaten the people of Los Angeles. The campy sci-fi movie also stars fellow "Police Academy" alumni Leslie Easterbrook and Michael Winslow.
