Q: I thought we would be getting new episodes of "Doc Martin," but so far all we get are the same old reruns. What happened?

Author:
Adam Thomlison / TV Media

A new season of "Doc Martin" is definitely on its way, we just have to be a little more patient. In fact, it's still on schedule, albeit a schedule of its own making.

The seventh season is currently being filmed, with its British network, ITV, promising that it will debut in the fall, two years after the sixth season debuted. And, indeed, the previous four seasons have all aired two years apart.

Complications, on USA Network

Dr. John Ellison (Jason O'Mara) struggles with the consequences of becoming a vigilante after saving a young boy from a drive-by shooting. Created by "Burn Notice's" Matt Nix, the drama follows Ellison as he often does the wrong thing for the right reasons.

Q: I was enjoying the new game show "500 Questions," which was on for a few episodes then just disappeared. Why was it taken off? Are there plans to bring it back?

Author:
Adam Thomlison / TV Media

"500 Questions" is gone because everything went according to plan. The series was billed as a "game show event," and when networks use the word "event," they usually mean it won't be on very long, but it'll come back if people like it.

It also apparently required a remarkable amount of work to produce its seven episodes, so it was never designed to be a normal, five-times-a-week game show.

Last Comic Standing, on NBC

The nation’s top comics vie for a coveted spot in the finals in this new episode. New judge Norm MacDonald presides alongside comedy superstars Roseanne Barr and Keenen Ivory Wayans in the competition for a lucrative prize package and development deal.
