Stroll around the streets of Las Vegas late at night and you just might witness an after-hours show like no other. The moonlit duels between the city's chefs are a local tradition that have gained a national audience, and the fights are coming back for another round. The second season of "Late Nite Chef Fight" premieres Thursday, Oct. 15, on FYI.

New Releases for the week of October 11 - 17

San Andreas

After years of buildup and minor quakes, California's San Andreas fault finally lurches, unleashing a massive magnitude 9.1 earthquake on the city. Search and rescue pilot Ray (Johnson) pairs up with his estranged wife, Emma (Gugino), to fly by helicopter from Los Angeles to San Francisco, where they hope to rescue their daughter (Daddario). As chaos spreads through the disaster zone, though, their seemingly simple journey quickly goes off the rails. Even with bands of looters and desperate disaster victims impeding their path to their daughter, it's what nature still has in store that will prove to be the ultimate test of their mettle.

Tomorrowland

A jaded inventor (Clooney) and a bright-eyed teen (Robertson) with boundless enthusiasm for science discover an alternate dimension called "Tomorrowland." When robots disguised as people start trying to kill the unlikely pair at every turn, they team up and flee to the parallel reality where they learn that the entire future of our world rests in their hands.

Dope

Malcolm Adekanbi (Moore) is a geeky, straight-A high school senior living in a tough, drug-filled neighborhood in Los Angeles. His dream is to be accepted to Harvard, but the school's guidance counselor dismisses that dream as an arrogant one for a kid like him. On the way home from school after that disappointing meeting, he and his friends are accosted by a drug dealer who ends up getting them invited to an exclusive party that seems like the chance of a lifetime for an uncool geek with few friends. Getting involved in the city's seedy underbelly, though, soon gets him swept up in a series of events that could jeopardize not only his chance of getting accepted to Harvard, but also his very life.

One of the big moments of the Republican debate was when Jeb Bush admitted to smoking marijuana during high school, while marijuana denied having anything to do with Jeb Bush.

 

One of the moderators for last night’s debate was a talk show host named Hugh Hewitt. Yeah, Hugh Hewitt. That sounds like Tom Brokaw arguing with his wife over who's gonna do the dishes.

The Bold and the Beautiful

Caroline and Ridge don't see eye to eye on a very important topic. Later, Ridge asks Caroline to keep a secret, which shocks her. Desperate to work at Forrester Creations again, Ivy goes to Eric looking for help, but leaves out an important detail when asking for a favor. As he tries to plan an intervention for Steffy and Ivy, Eric hears a load of incredible information. Wyatt and Liam aren't on the same page when it comes to giving Ivy a second chance. An offer from Steffy forces Ivy to step out of her comfort zone if she's to get her job back. Wyatt tries to help Ivy out as she tries her hand at her new job. Steffy encourages Thomas to apologize to Ridge for his actions and, when he does, Ridge shuts him down. Maya and Rick have an intimate discussion about starting a family.

Days of Our Lives

While on the hunt for clues to Bo's location, Steve stumbles into a troubling situation, forcing him to return to Salem with upsetting news about Bo. Meanwhile, Bo has a difficult time continuing his lie with his captors. While Stefano works with Chad in an attempt to flush out Clyde, Abigail suffers a health crisis as the stress of the situation weighs heavily on her. Rafe lays into Eduardo after the latter essentially places a bounty on Chad's head. Aiden recognizes another opportunity for him to repay his debts, and later gets revenge on Clyde. Andre and Stefano try to exonerate Chad and, elsewhere, Abigail and Chad have a tense encounter as he wonders why she's always trying to help him. After Will finds important evidence regarding the Necktie Killer, the murderer strikes again. Stuck in an anxious situation, Gabi is rescued by J, and the two develop a connection. Hope finds out from Aiden that he's been lying to her again.

General Hospital

A phone call shakes Liz; later, Jake questions her about it. Laura tries to encourage Liz to share the truth. Michael's loyalty comes into question, and Kiki gets some help from Franco. Emma tells Anna how much she admires her, which leaves Anna feeling very guilty. Later, Anna meets up with Sam and the two have a candid conversation with Emma. Nathan faces some serious repercussions after making an incorrect assumption. Julian and Alexis take things to the next level and, afterward, Julian runs into someone he wasn't expecting. After pleading with Sam to help him investigate, Jake gets stuck in a tricky spot. Hayden is in the right place at the right time and overhears an intimate conversation. Nikolas struggles to control Hayden. After going to Paul for advice, Dillon approaches Lulu and tells her how he really feels about her. An argument between Paul and Tracy comes to a head.

The Young and the Restless

Troubled by Sharon's recent behavior, Patty speaks to Dr. Anderson. Billy is ready to challenge Victor and tells Kyle, who warns him to quit buying Newman assets. Sage's relationship with Nick becomes a contentious issue for Victoria. Summer goes to Phyllis with some outrageous information, and Lauren is very surprised by a professional choice made by Michael. Lily and Devon speculate on whether or not Hilary's disappearance involves Colin. Abby implores Victor to give Chelsea a mulligan.

Animal trainer Brandon McMillan gives troubled dogs a new “leash” on life as he re-trains them in the hopes of finding them new homes. He transforms out-of-control, hard-to-love dogs by turning the frightened canines into model pets.

The 1988 animated series "C.O.P.S." -- not to be confused with the reality TV staple "Cops," which debuted on Fox in 1989 -- was subtitled "Fighting Crime in a Future Time." Of course, "a future time" covers a lot of ground. In fact, it is said in the show that the actual year is 2020.

Undateable, on NBC

Chris D’Elia and Brent Morin are back as Danny and Justin, roommates who hang out with a group of oddball friends in Justin’s bar in this season premiere. In a daring twist for network television, each of the episodes this season will be broadcast live.
