Q: What happened to the show "Hollywood Hillbillies"?

Author:
Adam Thomlison / TV Media

"Hollywood Hillbillies," the reality show following a Georgia-born Internet star who moves his family to Hollywood, appears to have been canceled. I say "appears" because it was the sort of show that sort of slips through the cracks, and can disappear without a word -- without an official one, anyway.

All we know for certain is that there haven't been new episodes of the show in well over a year.

Q: What happened to the TNT series "The Librarians"? We thought it was returning, but have not heard any mention of it. My husband and I both enjoyed it.

Rest assured, the secret treasures of the world are still defended, and the basement of New York's Metropolitan Public Library hasn't returned to being a boring old storage area. "The Librarians," about an ancient organization defending the world from magical forces, will return for its third season Nov. 20 on TNT.

Q: In the series "NCIS: New Orleans," coroner Dr. Loretta Wade wears colorful hats in the lab. Where can I purchase them?

Though CBS's online store (at CBSStore.com) has a surprisingly large line of "NCIS"-themed merchandise, including caps, you won't find any of Dr. Wade's colorful scrub hats there.

The hats CCH Pounder ("The Shield") wears as Dr. Wade in "NCIS: New Orleans" are custom made by the CBS wardrobe department -- custom for her, no less.

The fall television season is undoubtedly the most anticipated of the year, making it highly competitive as networks roll out old and hopefully new favorites. A good lead can make or break a prime-time run as audiences settle into viewing patterns, and NBC hopes to nab viewers early with one of last season's top performers.
