The movie you're looking for is 2010's "The Perfect Host."
The creepiness plays out slowly, so I won't describe it much here, except what's revealed on the box: David Hyde Pierce's ("Frasier") character is preparing to host a dinner party when a criminal on the run approaches him, pretending to be a friend of a friend, in order to be invited in and gain shelter from the police. However, the host may not be what he seems.
It's finally time for the opening of "Feast," but everyone comes together in all the wrong ways in this new episode. At the same time, Bam (Robert Kelly) and Rehab (John Ales) are conflicted about Campbell's (Campbell Scott) approach.
Dennis Leary stars in "Sex&Drugs&Rock&Roll"
I'm glad you included the actor's name in your question, because the film you're looking for is one of two films called "Death Takes a Holiday." They're both based on a play of the same name.
Your "Death Takes a Holiday" was a made-for-TV movie that aired in 1971 on ABC. This is bad news, because ABC churned out a lot of them for its "ABC Movie of the Week" series (roughly one a week, to be exact), most of which never saw video release. That includes "Death Takes a Holiday."
There's a bit of a trick to this one, because the affair never happens on the show. The tryst between Peter (played by former "Sex and the City" heartthrob Chris Noth) and Kalinda (Archie Panjabi, "Grease Monkeys") is indeed the reason that Alicia (the titular good wife, played by Julianna Margulies) kicks him out of the house in the second season, but she only finds out about it well after it happens.
Andrew Zimmern hosts "Andrew Zimmern's Driven by Food"
Websites, travel books, travel agents: they all have their own opinions on where to eat whenever you're visiting an unfamiliar city. Andrew Zimmern, though, has an even better source that he uses to find the best culinary spots in town: the locals.
Red (Sudeikis) is a bit of an outcast. The bushy-eyebrowed bird has a temper problem, and after an outburst causes another bird's egg to hatch prematurely, he's ordered into anger management classes by the other birds that live on their peaceful, remote island. When a boat arrives full of pigs who claim to be peaceful explorers, Red is suspicious of their motives, but is quickly dismissed due to his rage issues. When the pigs, having befriended the birds, betray them and steal all of their eggs, Red must help the other birds channel their anger and rage in order to travel to the pigs' island and take their eggs back.

Rami Malek and Christian Slater star in “Mr. Robot”
Never mind the modest ratings -- last summer’s new cyber-thriller was a critical hit, and it’s powering through its sophomore season with aplomb.
Lucas Till stars in "MacGyver"
Bubblegum and paper clips: CBS's "MacGyver" reboot is piecing together its cast. The new iteration of the classic show had a good enough pilot to get itself ordered to series, but the cast and crew have been shaken up in preparation for the anticipated premiere, airing Friday, Sept. 23.
Dana Lee guest stars as Ken's (Ken Jeong) dad, who shakes things up when he arrives for an impromptu stay in this rebroadcast. He takes on some chores that Ken hasn't gotten around to, such as buying and installing a much-needed dishwasher.
