Q: I'm confused: There were two action movies, called "Anna" and "Ava," released about a year apart, that look very similar. Are they related?

Adam Thomlison / TV Media

"Anna" (2019) and "Ava" (2020) are two completely unrelated films that just happen to follow almost the exact same plot and also happen to be titled after their protagonists, whose names both happen to start with A and are palindromes (they read the same both backward and forward).

I won't insult you by saying this is a coincidence, but it's not really intentional, either.

Pivoting, on FOX

Another new episode of this freshman dramedy series focuses on strengthening friendships and stumbling through life in the pursuit of happiness. Maggie Q, Ginnifer Goodwin and Eliza Coupe star as three friends struggling in the aftermath of a tragedy.

Q: I haven't seen Richard Gere in a while. Has he stopped making movies?

Author:

He hasn't stopped, but he's definitely in the choosy period of his career.

Richard Gere ("Pretty Woman," 1990), an icon of '80s and '90s Hollywood glamour, has only had four screen roles in the past five years, and none of them was particularly splashy.
