A new batch of celebs will be sashaying back on your screen in just a couple of weeks. "Dancing With the Stars" returns on Monday, Sept. 16.

It's understandable that you're wondering. Sept. 16 is pretty well bang-on a year after the last season's premiere, but the show usually does a spring season as well, so fans like you have been waiting twice as long as they're used to.

And "Dancing With the Stars" has been around long enough to be truly habit-forming. The upcoming season will be the show's 28th.

Folks are also probably impatient to see it again after all the controversy from last season. The finale set a lot of tongues wagging when radio host Bobby Bones and Sharna Burgess were named winners despite having the lowest score in the episode. The pair were viewed as longshots throughout the season, and their win led some to complain that the show places too much emphasis on popularity and not enough on skill.
