Q&A

Q: To whom can I write to indicate my displeasure with the new character, Bishop, on "NCIS"? I feel her character just doesn't blend in as did Ziva.

A great number of fans are having trouble coming to terms with Bishop's presence on the team, perhaps in part because it represents Ziva's absence. The latter character, played by Cote de Pablo, was a beloved fixture on a beloved show. So you're not alone in wanting to express displeasure.

To do so, the official CBS address for letters is:

NCIS
Belisarius Productions in assoc. with
CBS Television Studios
28343 Avenue Crocker, #1
Valencia, CA 91355

I would recommend directing your letter to the attention of executive producer and current showrunner Gary Glasberg or writer/creator Donald P. Bellisario.

That said, the show has vowed to try to make fans warm up to Bishop (played by Emily Wickersham) this season. For example, fans were introduced to her husband a few weeks ago to bring a more human element to her.

Bishop's arrival, and Ziva's departure, at the beginning of last season did coincide with a ratings drop, though the numbers have steadied since. This suggests either that fans are beginning to warm up to Bishop, or else that they're just finally resigned to the change.
