It's hard to say, actually.

The thing is that Heather West was promised her own restaurant at the prestigious Red Rock resort in Las Vegas. What she ended up with was senior chef, working under the executive chef, at a restaurant at Red Rock.

Some viewers say she was ripped off, others say she took the lesser job at a better restaurant.

The end of Season 2 showed her starting work at what appeared to be T-Bone's Chophouse, a steak restaurant in the sprawling resort. However she wound up working as a senior chef at Terra Rossa, a more prestigious Italian eatery.

Either way, she was gone from the Terra Rossa shortly after -- an ambitious fan called the restaurant to ask about her, was told her contract was only for a year, and promptly gossiped about the fact all over the internet.

She can now be found working as a chef at the eclectic and stylish Broadway Grill in Seattle. It gets solid reviews but is far from the Michelin-star-winning caliber that her sometime mentor, "Hell's Kitchen" star Gordon Ramsay, is associated with.

West popped up twice more on "Hell's Kitchen" in the third season. The first time she welcomed two contestants to Terra Rossa, where she was working by then, and she later reappeared in the season finale to help judge the dishes prepared by the two finalists.
