It's almost like an ongoing mystery that started during the show itself.
When ABC changed the name in Season 3 from "Two Guys, a Girl and a Pizza Place" to "Two Guys and a Girl," people wondered where the pizza place went.
The show ended in 2001 after four seasons and two of its stars went on to high-profile roles -- Ryan Reynolds to a film career and Traylor Howard to a starring role in the surprise hit detective show "Monk" -- and people wondered where the second guy, Richard Ruccolo, went.
Things looked promising for Ruccolo at first -- just after the series ended he had the lead role in the modestly successful 2001 romantic comedy film "All Over the Guy." Rucculo also had a short stint on the "Friends" spinoff "Joey" as Joey's personal assistant, Glen.
But that didn't lead to much else and he was soon back on TV doing guest spots and made-for-TV movies.
He had a brief resurgence in 2008 with a regular role on the Lifetime sitcom "Rita Rocks," but it only lasted two seasons. A direct-to-DVD movie -- 2010's "A Nanny for Christmas" -- followed, and he just popped up in a one-off guest spot on "Desperate Housewives" earlier this season.
Since "Monk" went off the air in 2009, the girl's disappeared, too, and now it's just Reynolds. Fortunately, the Hollywood press is keeping a close eye on him, at least.
"Two Guys, a Girl and a Pizza Place" actually featured a third guy for much of its four-season run. Starting in its second season, future "Castle" star Nathan Fillion starred in the series as well. After the series he landed the lead role on the short-lived but well-remembered sci-fi series "Firefly," which made him into a cult hero.
