Q: Is "Picket Fences" available on DVD? I've found the first season in stores, but not the rest.

It depends on how much you want it, or on whether you happen to be in Australia.

For some reason, "Picket Fences," a series that made a point of being as American as apple pie (at least a weird version of apple pie where the apples all have some kind of secret), seems to be more popular in Australia than in the U.S.

So the home-video companies think, anyway. The first season was released on DVD in the U.S. way back in 2007, but none of its subsequent three seasons got a domestic release. In Australia, on the other hand, the whole series is available in a boxed set released by Australian home-video company ViaVision.

So, while you won't find it in stores (unless, again, you frequent Australian stores), you can order it online. But it'll take a while to ship.
