It depends a little on which "they" you mean, but it doesn't look like anyone has a plan. So the best answer at the moment is no. And if that sounds like a wishy-washy sort of answer, that's because that's the trend at the moment.

People have been talking about bringing back "The Office" almost since it ended in 2013, but the talk has heated up a bit with a couple of recent events.

NBC boss Bob Greenblatt suggested in an interview back in April that he was excited about the growth of the "reboot genre," and listed "The Office" among the NBC shows that could be revived.

Several months later, in November, "Saturday Night Live" was the site of a mini "Office" reunion, when stars Ed Helms, Ellie Kemper and Jenna Fischer crashed Steve Carell's monologue to jokingly press him to do a reboot. However, he refused -- and the refusal didn't seem like a joke.

A couple of weeks later, Fisher and Helms joined a bunch of other cast members and series creator Greg Daniels for a get-together of some kind. They shared a photo of the event on social media, once more firing up the rumor mill, but they never actually said anything about a reboot.

So, all this excitement doesn't actually add up to much. No one's offering a plan or a timeline -- the only firm stance anyone has taken is Carell's refusal to participate.

What all the chatter does add up to, though, is proof that people are interested, and that's a pretty good place to start at least.
