However, the "This Old House" team gets a true taste of American history this season, as it takes on the 18th-century Nathaniel Page homestead beginning Thursday, Oct. 6, on PBS.

LOVIN' LATE NIGHT: Who says you can't go home again? Funnyman and late-night host Jimmy Fallon left sketch comedy series "Saturday Night Live" back in 2004 so he could focus on movies, but he has never forgotten the series that gave him his big break. And on Dec. 17, Fallon will return to the "SNL" stage for his first -- but hopefully not his last -- stint as host.
Romantic comedy, science fiction, animation -- there's something for everyone in the Fox fall lineup. And the on-screen talent is so great, you won't want to leave the couch. In addition to a slew of new programming, Fox will bring back a pile of favorites, including "Glee," "Raising Hope" and "Cops," which began Season 24 a couple of weeks back. New programming kicks off Tuesday, Sept. 20, with "New Girl."
