When Lou (Corddry) is shot by a mysterious assailant, his friends Nick (Robinson) and Jacob (Duke) fire up their hot tub time machine to travel to the past in order to find and stop the assailant. With potential suspects aplenty, the hunt is on to find the murderous time traveller so they can alter the future and save the past.
