Q: What's Guy Ritchie been doing since that "King Arthur" movie? Is he ever going to make another gangster movie? I wish he would.

Adam Thomlison / TV Media

In that case, granting wishes is what Guy Ritchie has been up to.

As you point out, in recent years he's strayed toward big-budget Hollywood territory, with varying degrees of success, after making his name in low-budget and distinctly British fare.

You missed an important couple of days.

Q: Is "The Son" returning or was it canceled?

Author:
Adam Thomlison / TV Media

There's another possibility you aren't accounting for: it could be neither.

At the moment, "The Son" is in a weird sort of limbo. AMC announced a year ago that the show was renewed for a second season, and seven months ago it said that it had "kicked off production" in Texas. However, there hasn't been a word since.

"The Son" is the sort of prestige drama that prides itself on taking its time, though, so "production" could take as long as they want it to.
