Delia's death shocks the residents of Genoa City and Chloe, Kevin, Billy and Victoria grieve her loss. Later, Dylan shows Avery the legal document stating his parental rights to Connor have been revoked. Meanwhile, Adam and Chelsea are overjoyed when it seems they've found an organ donor for Connor. However, the couple is crushed when the doctor informs them that the corneas aren't viable. Cane promises to keep Mattie and Charles safe when Lily begins to be overprotective because of what happened to Delia.
