Grace's daughter Brianna in "Grace and Frankie" is played by longtime sketch comedy star June Diane Raphael. Being a female comic making a successful transition from sketch to sitcom puts her on a path blazed partly by her "Grace and Frankie" co-star, the great Lily Tomlin. Tomlin became famous as a cast member in the sketch comedy classic "Laugh-In" in the late '60s and early '70s.

Wonder Woman

The Big Sick

Kumail (Nanjiani) is a Pakistani-American comedian who works as an Uber driver in his spare time. His traditional parents are determined to arrange a marriage for him, but after he meets Emily (Kazan) at one of his shows, he finds himself growing closer and closer to her. Shortly after they have an explosive argument that leads to their breakup, Emily is taken to the hospital with a serious infection and Kumail rushes to her side, where he meets her parents and bonds with her father (Romano).

The Bad Batch

Arlen (Waterhouse) is placed inside a vast fenced-off area just outside of Texas that is outside of the realm of laws and government. Shortly after her arrival, she is attacked and taken prisoner by a group of cannibals, from whom she manages to escape while keeping most of her body intact. Elsewhere in the desert wilderness, she is taken in by a secure town called Comfort, which is ruled by a cult-like leader named The Dream (Reeves), who maintains control over his people using drugs.
