When ex-con Daniel Lugo lands a job at an L.A. gym, he finds himself lusting after a wealthy patron's riches. While the trio have plenty of muscle, they lack the brains required to execute the plan properly. For a time, the plan works, and Daniel's charm and new-found wealth allow him to live what he sees as "the American Dream." Inevitably, though, their plan unravels, and so do the conspirators in this true story.
