Q: I'm still sad that Lady Felicia left "Father Brown." What has the actress been doing lately?

Nancy Carroll took some time off to do theater shortly after leaving "Father Brown," but the pull of TV work (and "Father Brown" in particular) was too strong to resist forever.

She did a few more supporting TV roles after leaving "Father Brown" in 2017, such as the TNT historical drama "Will" (about a young William Shakespeare).

Late Night With Seth Meyers, on NBC

Take a "Closer Look" at the news with "Saturday Night Live" alumnus Seth Meyers. Silly impressions, outrageous tangents and recurring segments such as "What Does Karen Know," in which Meyers quizzes a millennial staffer, make this late-night show unique.

Selma, on CBS

This Best Picture nominee stars David Oyelowo as Civil Rights leader Martin Luther King Jr. Chronicling a three-month time period in 1965, this historical drama concludes with the march from Selma, Alabama, to the state Capitol. Oprah Winfrey also stars.

Late Laughs for the week of June 20 - June 26, 2021

The Late Show with Stephen Colbert

Nearly 50% of all Americans have gotten at least one dose [of the COVID-19 vaccine], and COVID deaths are as low as they've been since last summer. Yes, "Low Death Summer": my favorite Beach Boys album.

Shocking news out of eastern Europe because yesterday Belarus forced a commercial plane to land so that they could seize a dissident [Roman Protasevich]. There was some warning for passengers: the pilot had turned on the no-opposition-to-murderous-dictator light.
