Q: I just watched "The Personal History of David Copperfield" with Dev Patel and thought it was delightful. I know it was based on a Dickens novel, but is the movie very different from the book?

Most say "The Personal History of David Copperfield" (2019) was very faithful to the spirit and intention of the original -- and it bent over backwards to stuff as many characters in as possible -- but it certainly took some liberties.
