Q: What has Matthew Gray Gubler been doing since "Criminal Minds"?

Author:
Adam Thomlison / TV Media

"Staying busy" is the best way to put it.

Matthew Gray Gubler played the eidetic-memoried Dr. Spencer Reid for the entire 15-season run of "Criminal Minds," one of the biggest shows on TV in its time, and so expectations were fairly high for what he'd do next.

A new, big project has yet to materialize, but it's only been a year ("Criminal Minds" left the air in February 2020).

The Late Show With Stephen Colbert, on CBS

Close out the week by staying up late with host Stephen Colbert. Colbert's sharp wit and willingness to get a little bit silly helps viewers digest the daily news and political happenings, earning him a top spot among late-night hosts and series.

Q: I am more than a little sad to lose "NCIS: New Orleans" -- I have always been a Scott Bakula fan. Is there an address where I can drop him a note? This would be appreciated.

In the digital age, there are multiple options for sending stars like Scott Bakula a note.

The mail option still exists, of course. The best approach for that is to send it to his managers at Anonymous Content. Their mailing address is 3532 Hayden Ave., Culver City, CA, 90232.

This being said, actors often have their own social media accounts. They may not always be the ones actually posting from day to day, but the accounts are still a close-to-direct link to the stars.

Extreme Sisters, on TLC

Anna and Lucy both decide to conceive naturally in this first of three rebroadcasts. Meanwhile, Brooke butts into Baylee's relationship, Patrix's sister helps her score a date and Jessica does her very best to get along with Christina's boyfriend.

NCIS: New Orleans, on CBS

The Big Easy has a reputation as a party town, but the city has a dark side in this drama. Special Agent Dwayne Pride (Scott Bakula) and his elite team work to solve crimes involving military personnel in New Orleans. C.C.H. Pounder also stars.

Q: I've started watching "The Nevers" and I'm really enjoying it. It has a fun, British-period-piece feel to it that I always enjoy. I'm curious who plays Lord Massen. He looks really familiar.

You aren't making this easy. If you're a fan of British historical dramas, you could know English actor Pip Torrens from just about anywhere. He has 185 entries on his screen resume, and it seems like the vast majority of those are period pieces.

So I'm going to take a stab in the dark here -- the "Poldark," actually. (Sorry.) Torrens' biggest recent role was a recurring spot on that 18th-century class-conscious drama, playing the cold-hearted banker, Cary Warleggan.
