When novelist and mother-of-two Laura (Jones) begins to suspect her husband and father of her children, Dean (Wayans), may be cheating on her, she reluctantly reaches out to a man she knows wouldn't spare her feelings in the name of comfort: her father, Felix (Murray). Quite the ladies' man himself, Felix is familiar with the ways a man might cheat, but the more time Laura spends with her wealthy, flirtatious, boozy and unstable father, the more she realizes how much she really needs and wants to feel unconditional love from the men in her life. But still the question nags at her, and so she has to know: is her husband cheating on her?

Each spending time in the Belle Reve prison for various crimes of a serious and deadly nature, a collection of less-than-sane criminals join supervillains Harley Quinn (Robbie), Bloodsport (Elba) and Peacemaker (Cena) to form a sinister brigade under Task Force X. Deemed perfect for the job because of their flagrant disregard for their own lives, the newly created Suicide Squad are dropped on the remote island of Corto Maltese, which just happens to be filled with their most dangerous enemies, to carry out an unbelievable mission involving an alien starfish.

Director: James Gunn. Stars: Margot Robbie, Idris Elba, John Cena, Joel Kinnaman, Michael Rooker, Viola Davis, Nathan Fillion, Pete Davidson. 2021. 132 mins. Action.
