New Releases for the week of Sept. 6 - 12

The Age of Adaline

Adaline (Lively) is a young mother living in the early years of the 20th century. When a freak snowstorm sends her car spiralling out of control and sends her plunging into a bitterly cold body of water, it's clear that her life is at an end. Something unexplained happens, though, and she survives the accident, but it soon becomes apparent that whatever happened to her that night has stopped her from aging. Eight decades later, Adaline is still a 29-year-old woman who's spent her life on the run. Now, though, she's drawn the romantic attentions of a handsome philanthropist (Huisman). Though attracted to him, she's tempted to run again until she discovers that their pasts are inexorably linked.

American Heist

James (Christensen) and his brother Frankie (Brody) have lived a life of crime together, but after they're finally caught, Frankie takes the rap and does the time. In the years since, James has turned his life around and has a beautiful girlfriend and a steady job. When Frankie is finally released from prison, though, James feels obligated to help out his brother after he took the blame for the both of them years prior. Together, the two plan one last ultimate heist that, if they can pull it off, will secure both of their futures.

The Bold and the Beautiful

Maya and Rick share tales of their travels with friends and family upon their return from their honeymoon, and later, the newlyweds start getting settled into married life. Ridge listens as Brooke tries to help him avoid making rash decisions about having children with Caroline. Ridge finally settles on a decision regarding his relationship with Caroline. Steffy goes to Wyatt yet again and begs him to get rid of the video from the night Aly died. Ivy revels in her new title at Forrester Creations, but when Liam and Steffy go to her with the idea of doing a photo shoot overseas, she realizes what they're trying to do. Caroline seeks out a shoulder to cry on after Ridge makes his decision about their relationship. Thomas ends up in an awkward spot, and later, he and Brooke discuss what they know about Caroline and Ridge's relationship. Steffy spills the beans to Wyatt about her back-up plan with Liam should Ivy choose to not delete the video. Thomas and Ridge have a private meeting where some very important announcements are made.

Days of Our Lives

Aiden shows his true colors when he makes a strange phone call. Rafe grills Chad about the person who was murdered, and unfortunately for Chad, the evidence keeps piling up against him. JJ's loyalty is tested, and later, he is threatened. There's a new District Attorney in town, and it's Justin, who wastes no time getting into it with Rafe over the murder investigation. Jennifer accuses Eve of divulging misinformation to the press, leading to an altercation between the rivals. Marlena and John share a special moment, but John is soon called away for ISA business, leaving Marlena unhappy. Theresa and Nicole go out looking for favors from separate people, unaware that they are both pursuing the same goal. Questions linger for Hope as she mulls over accepting Aiden's proposal. Eric is distraught and snaps. Kayla has to handle an upset Joey.

General Hospital

Unhappy with his behavior, Kiki unleashes her fury on Morgan, and Carly grows concerned about him. Ric goes looking for answers. Sonny and Carly develop a bond, and elsewhere, Michael lends a hand to Morgan. A visitor stops by for a surprising encounter with Sam and Patrick. An important phone call comes in for Sonny. Michael helps make Carly's day a little better and then looks to help ease Morgan's fears. The investigation continues for Sam and Jake. Molly is approached by TJ, who is looking for some help. Nina receives some encouragement from Franco.

The Young and the Restless

Ashley's attitude prompts Stitch to call her out on it. Billy struggles to pluck up the courage to make amends with Victoria. In an effort to get Marisa to leave Genoa City, Victor attempts to bribe her. Nick hears Dylan's worries about Sharon. After discovering that Lily knew about the bachelor party video, Cane goes to her for answers, and she tries to explain her motives for keeping quiet. Ashley finds out from Bill that the IT department couldn't find any information about the Paragon Project on Jack's computer. With the baby on its way, Sage grows anxious that Victor will cast her aside after the baby is born. Jill is back in town and is simply astonished to learn that Neil has already forgiven Devon for past transgressions. As he continues blackmailing Devon, Colin gets a testy visit from Cane about his shady dealings.

Hawaii Five-0, on CBS

Steve (Alex O'Loughlin), Danno (Scott Caan) and the rest of the Five-0 team work to track down the missing body of a victim who was killed at an Elvis impersonator convention in this rebroadcast. Elsewhere, Chin (Daniel Dae Kim) is asked for help.

Shark Tank, on ABC, CTV

Successful businessmen and women entertain pitches from hopeful entrepreneurs looking for people to invest in their ideas in this rebroadcast. If more than one Shark wants a bite of the business, they aren’t afraid to battle each other to make a deal.
