It's been so long that impatient fans have come up with a name for the long period since the end of season 2: The Droughtlander. However, the drought ends Sunday, Sept. 10, when the show returns on Starz.

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2

After saving the galaxy from the villainous Ronan, the Guardians of the Galaxy -- Peter Quill (Pratt), Gamora (Saldana), Drax (Bautista), Rocket (Cooper) and Baby Groot (Diesel) -- are thrown back into cosmic action when they crash land on a planet after their ship is attacked by drones. There, Quill's mysterious father, Ego (Russell), makes contact and offers Quill the truth of his heritage. Ego reveals that he is a god-like being of incredible power and that his son holds within him the power to alter the shape of the entire cosmos.

Kill Switch

When Earth's fossil fuels are exhausted, a major corporation called Alterplex builds a massive tower capable of tapping into the limitless energy of a mirror universe called "The Echo." When bizarre anomalies begin to occur on a global scale, astronaut Will Porter (Stevens) is recruited by Alterplex to travel through a portal, where he must activate a device designed to stabilize the connection between the two Earths and save both realities. However, after teaming up with Abigail (Marlohe) and Michael (Gernandt), two Alterplex employees, he begins to realize that his mission isn't exactly what he was led to believe.

Scales: Mermaids Are Real

On Friday, Sean Spicer resigned as White House press secretary. He wanted to spend more time not answering his family's questions.

 

Spicer quit on Friday because Trump appointed a new communications director, former hedge fund manager and lawyer Anthony Scaramucci. Of course, when it comes to Scaramucci, there's only one question everybody's asking: "Scaramouche! Scaramouche! Will you do the fandango?"

 

Halt and Catch Fire, on AMC

The Bold and the Beautiful

Bill devises a plan to make sure that he will obtain the Spectra building. Quinn's problems surrounding Sheila grow rapidly and are much worse than she previously thought. Sally makes one last plea to CJ to allow her one more collection to prove that Spectra Fashions will be a success. Eric and Quinn disagree entirely about what to do about Sheila's condition, which was brought on by Quinn. Though Steffy is on board with Bill's plan, she warns him that Liam may push back. Eric's ultimatum to Sheila forces her to go to extreme measures to get him to reconsider. Soon Eric gets the help of an old friend, James Warwick, to help him with Sheila. Sally appeals to Liam's emotional side during an interview by explaining why she plans to carry on the Spectra business. Brooke questions Eric's decision to help Sheila. Wyatt takes his relationship with Katie to the next level.

Marlena pleads with John for help. Brady makes a startling discovery in Eric's room. Meanwhile, Eric interrupts Hattie and Bonnie's party. Sonny recalls a memory from the night Deimos was murdered. Nikki tells Victor she's moved out of the ranch and into a hotel. Victor tells Nikki that she and Nick will come to regret crossing him. Victor soon admits to Abby that he and Nikki have separated. Dina prepares for her first day at Jabot. When Dina arrives and tries to work out of Jack's office, Jack tells her he needs his privacy and to use her own office. Jack tells Dina that he and Nikki have taken their relationship to the next level. Billy gets mad when Benjamin makes a crack about Phyllis. Cane tries to make things right with Charlie. Lily tells Cane to give the kids more time. Later, Cane is shocked when he comes home to find Reed and Mattie making out on the couch. Lily accuses Hilary of stealing her commercial and ruining her marriage. Billy tells Victor that Victoria us considering accepting a loan from Benjamin and they agree to confront her about it. Billy and Victoria are enraged when they receive news that Jack is raising their rent.
