Danny (Mays), a hardened London music executive, heads to the Cornwall coast for his colleague's bachelor party. During a day out, the friends come across a group of singing fishermen, a sight so hilarious to Danny's elitist boss, Troy (Clarke), that he tells Danny to sign the fishermen to a prank record deal. Danny finds himself taken aback by the talent and pure intentions of the fishermen he's meant to bamboozle. The band's leaders, Jim (Purefoy), Jago (Hayman), Leadville (Johns) and Rowan (Swainsbury), begin to remind Danny of the purity with which he viewed the music industry at the beginning of his career and allow him to consider the importance of friendship, love and a fulfilled life beyond the fame, career and fortune he's so stubbornly been prioritizing. Richard Hainsworth also stars.

Soon enough, Selah is openly questioning and rejecting the teachings and abuse Shepherd inflicts on the women, opening doors she might not be able to close.

Q: I was just rewatching the miniseries "11.22.63," and I'm wondering who the actor is who played the diner owner. I know I've seen him in things.

It's not quite accurate to call Chris Cooper a character actor. Usually when you're watching something and say, "Hey, it's that guy," you've spotted a character actor -- a term reserved for actors who disappear into all sorts of different roles. They don't have a "type," they fill whatever hole needs filling.
