The Bold and the Beautiful

After some uninvited guests arrive, Marcus and Dayzee tie the knot and enjoy their first married night together. Later, Marcus reveals the secret he's been keeping from his new wife and Dayzee is crushed. Meanwhile, Ridge and Brooke share memories of all the weddings they've had over the years. Brooke jumps to Liam's defense after Ridge sees the video of Liam and Steffy in Italy and soon realizes a copy is still on her computer at home -- where Hope stumbles upon it. Liam spends the afternoon with Steffy and they say goodbye, but she has trouble letting him go. Brooke consoles her heartbroken daughter, who is devastated by what she saw on the video.

Days of Our Lives

Sami sees EJ get arrested for Stefano’s murder and finds out he lied about being a DiMera. EJ convinces her that he was framed and she eventually bails him out, which Lucas is not happy about. Meanwhile, Melanie manages a quick call to Chad, but Andrew intercepts and Chad only hears something muffled about tunnels. He and Brady race to find her, but Gabi leads them astray. Victor lambasts Daniel for getting involved with Nicole, but Daniel sticks up for her. Austin bids farewell to Kate before he and Carrie leave Salem. Later, Sami is mugged and a flash drive containing evidence that could clear EJ is stolen. She decides to help EJ flee the country, but is stopped by Roman holding a gun. After grappling with Melanie and Gabi in the tunnels, Andrew mistakenly sets off a series of explosions under the city, raining destruction upon the Salem residents above.

General Hospital

A fire breaks out, putting several lives in danger, and someone in Port Charles is shot. Anna receives some important news and her resolve to get answers grows stronger. She aslo confronts Heather, who continues to play her devious mind games. Meanwhile, Lulu struggles with her feelings for Patrick, but circumstances end up bringing her closer to Dante again. Ewen tries everything he can to get things back on track with Liz. Todd is aware of John's secret, but it's anyone's guess how long Todd will stay quiet. Sonny has a difficult time being happy for his son. Johnny's secret is revealed to another person, but he does whatever it takes to keep it safe. Jason and Sam are still on the rocks, but Spinelli and Carly try to help them sort out their issues.

The Young and the Restless

Nick punches Billy for firing Phyllis and putting her story on the cover of the next issue of the magazine. Neal threatens Sofia with legal action when he learns that she wants to accept a job offer in New York and share custody of Moses. Meanwhile, Jack and Ashley continue to lock horns over the possibility of Jabot merging with Beauty of Nature. Jeff and Gloria fight about his not-so-dead wife, Anita, who arrives with the certificate to prove the validity of their marriage. Chelsea becomes upset when Jeff and Anita show up at the lakeside mansion where she is spending time with Adam and she throws them out. She tells Adam she believes her parents just want her money. Cane tells Lily he thinks Genevieve had her own room trashed to avoid suspicion, but Lily isn't so sure.

Castle, on ABC

Castle and Beckett search for a serial killer who appears to draw inspiration from fairy tales. One victim is found dressed as Red Riding Hood with claw marks on her body, and another as a poisoned Snow White.

Q: Mark Ruffalo seems to be starring in a lot lately -- when did he become so popular?

"The Avengers" (2012) star Mark Ruffalo struggled for a while to break into the screen business, doing bit film roles and even the occasional TV guest spot before finding fame in a critically beloved 2000 film.

Ruffalo starred in the breakout indie hit "You Can Count on Me" as a wandering, ne'er-do-well younger brother to Laura Linney's responsible single mom.

Blue Bloods, on CBS

Erin re-opens an 18-year-old case, in which Frank happened to be the arresting officer. Also, Danny and Jackie investigate the senseless murders of three teenagers who were killed in a park.

Summer is usually seen as a dead season for TV. Most of the regular shows have gone into hibernation until the fall, and the prime-time hours are filled with reruns.

Saving Hope, on NBC

Alex and Dawn clash over who should legally make decisions for Charlie while his life hangs in the balance. However, they must put their differences aside when they work on a heart transplant surgery together.

Q: I haven't seen Dennis Franz since "NYPD Blue" went off the air in 2005. What's he been doing?

Enjoying the fruits of retirement.

Vietnam veteran, character actor and multi-Emmy winner Dennis Franz has been taking it easy since his signature character, Det. Andy Sipowicz, signed off in the series finale of "NYPD Blue," on March 1, 2005.

But that's not to say he's been bored.

"I certainly have my hands full with grandkids, golf and cleaning my garage," he told "Entertainment Weekly."
