Q: Who played the mom on "Everybody Hates Chris?"

Chris's authoritarian, sharp-witted mother was played by sitcom familiar-face Tichina Arnold.

She's familiar nowadays for her new job on TV Land's "Happily Divorced," playing main character Fran's best friend. That show has proven to be an early hit for the network, which is slowly getting into the sitcom-making game.

Indeed, Arnold has built a career out of making hits for fledgling networks.

The Bold and the Beautiful

Bill tries to persuade Liam not to bother fixing things with Hope, while Rick convinces his sister that she needs to move out of Liam's house as soon as possible. Hope finds comfort in the arms of her former lover Thomas, which leaves the way clear for Rick to swoop in on Caroline. Rick gives Brooke and Katie a piece of his mind for wanting Hope and Liam back together. Sparks fly when Liam finds Steffy at Venice Beach and they share a passionate reunion. As Thomas helps Hope move out, Liam makes one final plea for Hope to stay but she tells him that he belongs with Steffy. Pam and Donna find it difficult to share a desk and can't stop fighting each other at work.

Days of Our Lives

Nicole confesses her true feelings to Daniel, but he tries to let her down gently. She uses her fears about EJ to get Daniel to invite her to move in with him, but he tries to get her into the Kiriakis mansion instead. Victor rejects the idea outright so Jennifer offers to have her move in. Nick almost withdraws his petition for parole out of respect for what Melanie just went through, but Hope convinces him to go for it. Chad and Brady persuade Melanie to write a letter opposing Nick's release. Meanwhile, Will talks to Marlena about his feelings for Sonny and his fear that he's screwed things up for good. Sonny punches T and warns him to watch his back as he continues to pine for Will. Things heat up again between Sami and EJ, but she decides to get her life in order and focus on her kids before she gets involved with any man.

General Hospital

Port Charles is held hostage as Jerry makes his demands known and McBain endeavours to stop him before all is lost. Todd takes advantage of the situation and goes to see Jerry. After offering relationship advice to Carly, Todd opens up to her about the true nature of his feelings. Carly later comforts Jax through a difficult time. Tracy isn't sure she can trust Joe Jr., despite his assurances that he can protect her. Filled with regret for not having killed him earlier, Sonny pulls a gun on Joe Jr. Patrick's suspicions about Ewen puts Elizabeth in danger and she finds herself in hot water. Jason rushes to save her before it's too late. Meanwhile, Anna and Luke find solace in each other and make love.

The Young and the Restless

Phyllis confesses to Ronan that Tim was with her when he died and explains that he was blackmailing her. Heather thinks about burning the last box of Ricky's things, but she holds on to a snow globe at Daniel's suggestion. Across town, Bryce informs Avery and Paul that Ricky killed Rachel. Cane is shocked to hear that Lily bumped into a woman who looked just like his late sister, Samantha. Meanwhile, Sharon comes to blows with Nick and fires him due to his on-going search for Victor, while Nick blames her for the disappearance. Genevieve runs into Victor in Los Angeles, but he seems to have no memory of who he is and introduces himself as Christian. As Jack has Nikki's things moved out of the house, Kyle tells him that he suspects Sharon of stealing from him. At the coffeehouse, Sharon looks for something in her purse among the many stolen goods.
