Q: I haven't seen Chi McBride since "Human Target" was canceled. What's he been doing since?

Author:
Adam Thomlison / TV Media

Chi McBride has become the sort of respected TV supporting man who you just expect to always be around. He's fuelled that expectation by always being around.

Though his nearly unbroken string of full-time series gigs seemed to have come to an end with the cancelation of Fox's action-adventure "Human Target," in fact, it's just his face that's disappeared.

Q: I vaguely remember a show on A&E, quite a while ago, that took place at a courthouse in New York. It was a big deal at the time because it was produced by a big director, but I don't remember much else. What was it? Can it be found on DVD?

Author:
Adam Thomlison / TV Media

That was "100 Centre Street," and it was actually a big deal for a few reasons.

The series, about the lives of the people working at a New York City courthouse, ran for two seasons, from 2001 to 2002, and was produced (and occasionally directed and written) by Hollywood legend Sidney Lumet.

Q: I heard, quite a while ago, that there was another Bridget Jones movie being made. Is that still happening? When?

Author:
Adam Thomlison / TV Media

Yes, it is still "happening," in the sense that the script is still being written, which would be fine except that the film was supposed to have started filming seven months ago.

The third installment in the series, based on the book series by Helen Fielding, about a charmingly awkward British everywoman and her troubled love life, is reportedly titled "Bridget Jones's Baby," pretty much giving away the premise right off the bat.
