The Bold and the Beautiful

Hope's conviction falters and she secretly takes another anti-anxiety pill. Liam takes her skiing on the Aspen slopes to deal with the stress of being harassed by the media. Unfortunately, an incident during the ski trip brings Steffy closer to Liam, while Hope is left with a stunning memory as she comes down from the pills. Meanwhile, Brooke, Taylor and Ridge continue arguing about with whom Liam would be happiest -- Steffy or Hope. Brooke also learns about the side effects Hope could experience from the drugs and explains the situation to Stephanie when she expresses concern. Hope finally tells Liam about the pill she took before skiing and later asks Dr. Barton for help getting her life back under control. Steffy, encouraged by her time alone with Liam and against Romona’s objections, makes an impressive gesture to express her love. Meanwhile, Alison learns from Bill the real reason he doesn’t want his son to be with Hope.

Days of Our Lives

Marlena, Bo, Hope and John move to the safe house when they realize that someone has double-crossed them. The safe house, however, is rigged with explosives, and the group, which also includes Rafe and Carrie, are facing certain death as the clock ticks down. Rafe blurts out that he is not the father of Nicole's baby just as the explosives go off. Meanwhile, EJ finds a document declaring that he is not Stefano's son -- Alice had saved EJ as a baby and gave him to Stefano to raise. Kate sees Sami and Lucas kissing, and she tears into her son for repeating his old mistakes. When Sami and Lucas later put out a fire for the company, they realize they make a great team. Madison asks Justin to help her divorce Ian, and Brady is disgusted that Ian and Kate are now together.

General Hospital

Connie seduces Johnny and gets him into bed, but Kate soon regains control and assumes that Johnny forced himself on her. Carly walks in on them and blasts Johnny for his infidelity, and later she goes to Sonny to get back at Johnny. Jason searches for information about Sam's whereabouts, but Sam isn't sure she wants to be around him after seeing his reaction to the paternity test. Lulu fails to appear at Sonny's birthday party, and Dante starts to get worried when he's unable to reach her on her cellphone. Tracy is desperate to get out of her marriage to Anthony, but Luke fears she is going to resort to violence to get her way. Maxie's fate is in the hands of the judge, and she's convinced she has painted herself as a killer.

The Young and the Restless

Adam and Chelsea share a passionate kiss, but he is quickly distracted when Sharon arrives with a birthday card for him. Chelsea realizes that she will never make Adam love her as much as he loved Sharon, and she leaves. Meanwhile, Phyllis and Nick decide to get married for the sake of the new baby, but their joy soon turns to worry when they realize that Sharon may become unhinged at the news. Nikki tries to make peace with Kyle but he refuses to talk to her. Later, Nikki and Jack decide to put their relationship on the back burner while Kyle is in town. Cane tries to convince the agents that he has no information about Gen's bank accounts, but they don't accept his answers.

Q: What's David Hyde Pierce up to now?

Author:
Adam Thomlison / TV Media

As might have been expected, David Hyde Pierce, who played the very cultured Niles Crane on the hit NBC sitcom "Frasier," has mostly gone over to the stage in recent years.

He appeared in the smash-hit run of the Monty Python-inspired "Spamalot" and won a Tony in 2007 for his role in "Curtains" -- both on Broadway.

Writer's block -- it's that horrible feeling authors get when they just doesn't know what to write. It afflicts nearly all writers at some point in their career, but there probably aren't many who would resort to hunting down murderers as their cure.

But then, Richard (Rick) Castle is cut from a different cloth than most other novelists.

Q: The bad guy from "Saw" looks a lot like Christopher Walken, but I don't think it's him. Who is it?

Author:
Adam Thomlison / TV Media

Having the gaunt face and sunken eyes of famed Hollywood weirdo Christopher Walken could be considered a curse, unless you're pursuing a career in horror movies. That's what Tobin Bell has done, and he's done well.

Bell has starred as serial killer John (Jigsaw) Kramer in all seven of the high-grossing (pun intended) "Saw" films.

The Middle, on ABC
