Q: What happened to "Made in Jersey"? I think I watched two episodes, thought it was pretty good, but now I can't find it. It couldn't have been canceled already, could it?

You'd be surprised how fast a show can get canceled.

That said, "Made in Jersey" was cut more quickly than most -- indeed, it was the first casualty of the fall season. And you didn't miss a thing -- the two episodes you saw were the only ones that aired.

A further slap in the face came the next week, when the network's ratings improved by shuffling around the other two shows, "CSI: NY" and "Blue Bloods," and replacing "Made in Jersey" with an "NCIS" repeat.

Q: What happened to the new "Dallas" that started in June 2012?

Author:
Adam Thomlison / TV Media

Only good things, though it all happened very quickly.

The series was a huge hit for TNT, pulling in nearly 4.3 million viewers for its season finale on Aug. 8.

Anyone doing the math will notice that the show, despite being a hit, only aired for two months, having premiered in June as you point out and wrapping in August. Unfortunately, that's the nature of cable -- short seasons are common, especially in the summer. Dallas's first season was only 10 episodes long.

Criminal Minds, on CBS

It's a race against time when the BAU set out to find a missing school bus full of children near the Washington, D.C. area. Guest stars include Reggie Hayes as Det. William Richards, and Andrew James and David Gallagher as brothers Josh and Matt Moore.
